My other, relativley more expensive watches are not really fit for use in the sea, or underwater, even they claim to be water resistant down to 100meters. At the end of every summer I had to buy a new leather strap or clean the metal strap. This White G-shock
1-Has a very tough case and strap, safe for diving, jetskiing, waterskiing, surfing and etc.
2-Is solar powered, no need to change the battery frequently (every time you change the battery of a watch, its water resistance is reduced)
3-Is very attractive with its retro design and brigth white color (especially on a suntanned skin)
4-Is light weight, medium size
5-Is not expensive
