The size is not as large as some Baby-G's (like the one my wife wore out previously and loves) which is a good thing. The problem we had was the chain strap. We were expecting an all-metal chain. The actual chain alternates between white-plastic and metal, not our cup of tea. I can see this now in the picture. The alternating chain material is much more apparent/contrasting on the actual item. We'll have to find another Baby G!
